TriPAV
TriPAV, a high-frequency rheometer for inks, coatings, and biofluids.
A compact, high-performance rheometer that enables measurement conditions unattainable with conventional rheometers.
Frequency range from 1 to 10,000 Hz
Access the fast dynamic regimes of inks, inkjet inks, paints, and biofluids, which are inaccessible in conventional rotational rheology (max ~100 Hz).
1 mPa.s and above to cover very low-viscosity fluids
Compatible with samples starting at 1 Pa.s and provides usable results in less than 5 minutes.
Exclusive distributor
Rheonova is the exclusive distributor of the TriPAV in France (Trijet Limited).

High-frequency

FAQ - TriPAV
What is the difference between the TriPAV and a conventional rotational rheometer?
A rotational rheometer operates at frequencies up to ~100 Hz. The TriPAV reaches up to 10,000 Hz, allowing for the measurement of viscoelastic properties (G', G'', tan delta) under fast dynamic conditions representative of inkjet, spraying, and ejection processes.
Is the TriPAV compatible with solvent-based inks or sensitive biofluids?
Yes, the TriPAV is compatible with solvent-based inks thanks to its hermetically sealed design, which prevents evaporation, and with sensitive biofluids thanks to its micro-rheological mode, which operates at extremely low strain levels that preserve the integrity of fragile samples.
Can the viscosity of very low-viscosity fluids, such as inkjet inks, be measured?
Yes. The TriPAV is compatible with viscosities as low as 1 mPa.s, making it suitable for aqueous and solvent-based inkjet inks, solvents, and aqueous biofluids.
Do you offer a demonstration using my own samples?
Yes. Rheonova offers demonstrations using your own samples, either on-site or in the lab. Contact us to schedule a session.
