Viscous component of the complex modulus, expressed in pascals. Represents the energy dissipated as heat during oscillatory deformation. A material with a dominant G'‘ behaves like a viscous liquid. Measured using SAOS oscillatory tests. Together with G’, it allows for the calculation of tan delta and the complete characterization of viscoelastic behavior.
