A rheological oscillatory test in which the strain amplitude is gradually varied at a constant frequency. This test is essential for identifying the linear viscoelastic region (LVR/LVE) in which G' and G'' are independent of the amplitude. As a preliminary step to any oscillatory test, it allows for the study of the material’s intrinsic structure.
