A family of thickening agents for water-based paints. HEUR (Hydrophobically Modified Ethylene Oxide Urethane) and HASE (Hydrophobically Modified Alkali-Soluble Emulsions) bind to latex particles and modify the rheological structure. They directly influence the application properties of paints: leveling, sag resistance, and the feel of the paint during application.
