An oscillatory rheological technique applied vertically to solid materials: polymers, elastomers, composites, etc. Provides the storage modulus E', loss modulus E'', and tan delta. The technique allows for the determination of the material’s characteristic temperatures, particularly the glass transition temperature (Tg). When applied as a function of frequency, it results in the construction of the master curve. Used for the mechanical qualification of materials prior to market release.
