The stage in the curing of a resin (epoxy, polyester, polyurethane) corresponding to the liquid-to-solid transition, identified by the intersection of G' = G'' in oscillatory rheology. Beyond the gel point, the resin can no longer be processed. This is a key parameter for defining processing windows, working times, and polymerization conditions.
